Casa Do Galo came out of the need to continuously market our beautiful Portuguese culture. Since Galo de Barcelos symbolizes honesty, integrity, trust and honor and also believed to bring good luck to all who adorn it, we use it as a symbol of what represents us. The project is made up of well known local portuguese musicians who come together to support local artists just joining the ranks of other Portuguese entertainers or those who have already established names in the industry. This project brings music, cuisine, entertainment grounded by our portuguese roots and a yearning “Saudade” to spread this amazing culture to the world. The choice of music is based on all genres. Guests are invited to play and sing with the band which is made up of Portuguese musicians. Today we have Mozambique, Angola, Azores, Continente and Brasil represented. More importantly it is about friendships that bind us togther all because of music.
